The Sony VPL-CS20A LCD projector is designed for a range of installed and portable presentation uses, primarily in corporate, rental, education and healthcare settings. Truely Portable
The Sony VPL-CS20A offers SVGA resolution, excellent for either video content or presentations. With a brightness of 2000 ANSI lumens, you don’t have to dim the lights too far to get a good image. This is a highly portable projector with a weight of just under 2 kg and a height of about 60mm. This puts it among the lightest LCD projectors currently available and among the brightest in its weight category. The Sony VPL-CS20A projector also features an advanced intelligent auto setup with auto-focus system, together with a short focal length lens so you can set up quickly and achieve large image sizes even in the most cramped of meeting rooms.
3-LCD projector technology
Natural and bright images are produced by the Sony VPL-CS20A using 3 LCD panels, common now on higher specification projectors. This produces an image that is easy on the eyes and avoids color break-up, or the “rainbow effect”. The full light processing capability of the 3-LCD technology gives high light efficiency meaning brighter, clearer images. It also renders intermediate colors very well so you will enjoy life-like reproduction of dark and shadow sections.
Remote Commander and other Features
The Sony VPL-CS20A has a new card-type Remote Commander unit avaialble, the RM-PJ3, for convenient control of the projector’s functions. Other features include a password-authentication system, control panel key lock, security lock, and multi-scan converter for accepting a variety of inputs. This converter allows the projector to take a wide selection of input signals including computer images and video. You will also have selectable lamp wattage to match brightness to the room and increase bulb life, an on-screen multi-language set-up menu, and freeze and digital zoom functions.
